Welcome to Vertis Health - we’re a federation of GP surgeries and PCNs in Worcestershire, serving over 600,000 NHS patients through a variety of local services.

Our community of GPs are our stakeholders, meaning we’re powered by the community we’ve created - and our goal is to find ways to make it easier for them to spend less time and money on administrative workload, and more time with their patients.

For more than a decade, Vertis has been at the forefront of providing primary care services in some of the most difficult situations. We have built services at speed and delivered care deep into the heart of our local communities.

  • Acute Respiratory Hubs

    During periods of intense winter pressure, we provide Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) Hubs, aimed at reducing the stresses on Primary Care by fast-tracking young respiratory patients into pop-up, same-day clinics where they could be treated effectively. These relieve pressures on local practices, allowing them to prioritise their efforts and see more patients overall.

  • Primary Care Unit & GP in A&E

    We provide primary care services to the A&E departments at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust, alleviating pressures on local emergency services, while ensuring patients needing to see a GP are treated appropriately. This service has a direct impact on waiting times, and allows emergency staff to treat those patients who are more seriously injured or in need of urgent care.

  • Covid-19 Vaccinations

    During the Covid-19 pandemic, we opened and managed three primary vaccination centres - The Artrix, Three Counties and St Peter’s Baptist Church. We also ran pop-up clinics in various locations across Worcestershire, giving patients the opportunity to get their vaccines with ease - with a particular focus on supporting health inequalities in our community.

  • AI Dermatology Services

    We deliver the market-leading Derma AI service to patients in Worcestershire, with a focus on reducing waiting times for patients with skin lesions in need of review. We run clinics in GP practices across Worcestershire, allowing patients to quickly access treatment and have their lesion assessed using AI technology - speeding up the consultation process for those who need it.

  • Your Health, Your Wellbeing

    From 2023 to 2026, we’re proud to have delivered the Your Health, Your Wellbeing service on behalf of NHS Herefordshire & Worcestershire, Worcestershire County Council and Macmillan Cancer Support. These vans travelled around Worcestershire and hosted events for local communities to receive free healthcare advice, NHS Health Checks, GP registration, screening advice, and support accessing digital services.
